Applications designed to operate in space usually require a processor for a multitude of operations. The operations can range from control of the spacecraft to handling communications. The LEON3FT is a general purpose processor designed to handle most of the daily tasks and operations while under the rigors of harsh space environment. The UT700 is a true SOC processor that includes the LEON3FT, General Purpose I/O, Floating Point, Memory Management, Communications (SpW, CAN, UART, Ethernet) functionality in a single chip to minimize power consumption and reduce board area. The UT700 is the third generation of the SOC general purpose processor family of products that has heritage in world wide applications for scientific, commercial and military bus and payload applications.

Evaluation boards have become the stepping stone to efficient and effective development for spaceborne applications. The LEAP development system provides advanced development of software for efficient and effective deployment of design solutions. The LEAP provides a cost effective, fully flight compliant software development eco system that can be put in place well before the hardware architecture is in place.
