As an agency technical fellow during 2009-2010, Dr. Troxel has been investigating fault tolerance techniques using emerging hardware technologies for a set of applications of interest to the agency. He will also provide some lessons learned from radiation testing that apply to planning fault injection/fault detection approaches for that very expensive "time under beam". Dr. Troxel is a 2006 graduate of University of Florida, where his doctoral thesis topic was in fault tolerance techniques. He is on loan as a technical fellow to the OGA from SEAKR.
